For those of you who may be interested in becoming an advertiser on the Grinning Skull, below you will find a general guideline for prices and advert sizes. All advertisments are subject to approval, and I will add that while we cover a wide variety of subject matter and topics, dodgy, explicit or obscene links and advertising are prohibited. It is prefered that advertisers fall in the broad category of related subject matter, so please contact me if you have questions or doubts relating to accepted material.

 ADVERTISING RATES

• Text ad (30 word max): £3.50/$5 per month


• small ad (300 x 300 max) £7/ $10 per month


• med ad (300 x 500 max) £10/$15 per month


• large ad (300 x 750 max) £15/ $20 per month


• Full additional promo page. £75/$125 per month

Ads are displayed at the side vertically on the right of the page, and are present on every page of the site. I can negotiate a better deal if you require more than 2 months at a time. Payment by paypal (for international, UK: PO orders/cheque also accepted) Also I'm prepared to post advertising/promotional articles (pending approval) at a cost of £7/ $10 per 500 words (min) but that can also be negotiated also (or if you'd like to barter with me throw me an offer!) Please note these prices are for UK and US/CAN/AUS, if you require the cost in Euro, please contact me.

In addition to these side ads, we can also offer a small square ad of up to 300 x 300 at the bottom of the page at half price (at the £3.50/$5) rate due to it's visibility being at the bottom of the site. If all available small ad spaces are taken, you will be offered a spot here at the reduced rate.

Full promo page ads are offered at a rate of £75/$125 per month. There is a 2000 word limit to the size of these ads and it may contain up to 10 pictures and up to 10 back links (of which must be your own material, no violations of copyright from elsewhere) Ads of this kind will greatly add visibility to your cause or product etc. Any over run of either words, pictures or links will be charged at an additional £75/$125 (but this will allow up to another 2000 words, 10 pics, and/or 10 links) Further space on these promo pages will incur a nominal £75/$125 per 2000/10/10 respectively. All submitted ads are subject to final approval.

You can also become a site sponsor and have your name/cause/business featured within the title bar, and other various bits of promotional stuff, featured on the site. this is very much the same as traditional advertising, but since this type of campaign is largely up to the individual client, the price will vary to the degree according to the level of sponsorship the potential sponsor requires or wants. Therefore, please contact us using the form with your queries and we can discuss your needs from there.

If you require additional help to create your ads, please get in touch and we'll do our best to provide you with a suitable graphic advert at no cost as part of the service (Aww, we are kind aren't we!!)

PLEASE NOTE: Even so we have plenty of visitors daily here, there is no guarantee that visitors will click your link, just as advertising in of any type of media. If you require that your ads have a set amount of refferals, I suggest that you try more targeted campaigns found elsewhere, as we can only do so much to promote your ads. In this case, we suggest also that you make sure that our readers will find your ads and wares are of interest to them, and are eye catching enough to pique their interest. With this fact in mind, no refunds or credits will be given if you are dissatisfied with your ad campaign. Sorry.
